ANDERSON PLUS started remodel of Lee House in late November 2003. Work was fast tracked coinciding with winter/spring holidays traffic. The use of native materials to the western North Carolina mountains was key to the design of an elegant, comfortable, rustic mountain retreat. New fireplaces using false rock due to weight considerations, real timber details and cork flooring were added to public areas and suites, wood plank porcelain tile and pebbles were added for shower floors; and hickory timbers to create arbors for in suite whirlpools.
